Here we are, on a Monday night, WWE Raw is playing in the back ground. Vince got Rick Roll'd, money is being given out, phone by my side, and I am reflecting upon my kick ass weekend.
Friday night - This was my "day of rest" I came home ate some grub, and popped in "Meet the Spartans" A potential for a "Not Another Teen Movie" classic, however it fell victim to one pop reference after another. Which leads to a weak story and the jokes get old fast. It's sad when my favorite part was Kevin Sorbo shouting the line "I'm gonna go Hercules on your ass."
Saturday - The long awaited Sorgstock 2008: Spring Edition. Full of wrestling(in a ring none-the-less!), musical jams and fun festivities. Soreness level on 1-10: 6 Sunburn Level: 7
Sunday - Annual trip to Kennywood with the family. Myself and three guests along with my interesting family took on Kennywood and all its adrenaline fury. Four of us ended up on the Sky Coaster (not me!), and Jennie and I ate the waterfall. Got loads more sun but lots more fun and memories! Soreness level: - 3 Sunburn Level: +1.5
So now I sit here in my chair sleep pulling at the blinds of my eyes, listening to InPlainSight on the TV, and a half played game of Magic the Gathering on the floor. I look at this weekend and realize this is the start of an awesome summer. Perhaps my best one yet, and the fun continues this Wednesday as softball kicks off and I am playing on the award winning Yinz Team. I'll try and keep up on my activities here for whoever wants to know can keep up. Until then try and keep cool and have a blast!

If I Only Could, I'd Set the World on Fire
Before you ask, no I'm not a terrorist....
I'm a terrifying terrorist!
So I want to try and keep things with this blog "real." As in, real about me and what I feel. With that said I read an article yesterday that stated obese people help increase global warming. Really now? Now, I'm not involved really in politics whatsoever, so frankly my dear, I don't give a damn about Democrats and Republicans and if Al Gore "made up" global warming. I like to believe in realistic things, and yes I see global warming as a very real thing. Not something that will essentially affect society in the next 10-20 years, but something that has greater long term concern. I know am beginning to think extreme stretches are being made, to prove the point of global warming. The obese being a contributor is one of them. Ok, sure obese people may eat more, and them eating more causes the food providers to eat more gas, which in turns releases toxic fumes in the air. Come on, who had time to sit and think that all out. I believe there are much more pressing things to be worrying about. Maybe I'm in the minority, but I already believe in global warming, why are they going to these lengths?
Ok enough of my grumbling. This past Tuesday on the Mayhem Show, we had interviews with GQ Money, and Pittsburgh own radio DJ/professional wrestler Bubba the Bulldog. Both interviews went swimmingly and I personally learned a good bit from both of them. You can download them on iTunes or our website
Last night I revisited my cooking skills and whipped up some tasty Chicken Marsala for the Girl and her parents. I wasn't sure I still had it, and the process wasn't the same but the end result sure was. Good eatin'!

This Saturday is the STEEL CITY WRESTLEFEST down at the Rostraver Ice Garden in Belle Vernon, PA. (About 30-45 min south of the burgh) Bubba the Bulldog himself is going to be taking on hometown hero Kurt Angle in an 8 year and counting grudge match. Other talent consists of former WWE stars Joey Mercury and Chris Masters and Pittsburgh legend Bruno Sammartino. As well as many local talent in Jason Gory Shiima Xion, Scottie Gash, Sterling James Keenan and many more. It looks to be a really good show and yours truly is going to be there for it. Hope some of you make it out.
Well I feel as I have rambled for far too long and someone will most likely yell for it being too long...oh well.
Until next time.

Prelude to CHAOS
Government stimulus checks. Since the announcement of this little nugget of "green gold" confusion and misunderstanding has not been very far behind.
"When are the checks getting sent?"
"Whats the last two digits of your social security number?"
"Did you have your refund direct deposited?"
All questions I have fielded in the past weeks countless times. What a program. Someone wasn't thinking clearly when they discussed the "how do we get the money to the people" By the sounds of it, program manager most likely said,
"Eh, minor details my good sir. We'll figure something out" *sigh*
Don't get me wrong, I am excited for "free money", however as a 22 year old living on my own I have acquired some "debt", and instead of stimulating the economy I am pulling myself towards even. Really then, who all is going to use the check to splurge on objects, who all is going to conserve it, who is going to debt pay, who is going to use it so they only have to pay just an arm, instead of both it and a leg for gas?
Fun
Oh yeah,
GO PENS!

Welcome to My Life
So another week draws to a close. It's Thursday, and I believe this is when I wrote my last entry. Perhaps, I should make this a Thursday thing.....Hmmmm, we will see.
Yesterday, Scott proposed an interesting question via Twitter that asked, "Who would you want to narrate your life?" Upon reading this immediately the first name that popped into mind for myself was Morgan Freeman. He has one of those calm collected voices, that makes you just want to listen. Yet with just the intonation alone, he can go from serious to funny to playful and back to serious. Just watch the difference from God in the "Almighty" movies to Mob boss in "Lucky Number Slevin." See how he changes from talking about flightless birds in "March of the Penguins" to talking murder with Brad Pitt in "Se7en"
Or even here which is a great scene from "Shawshank Redemption."
Make you feel inspired? I am. But I could picture my life as being told in that voice whether it be the highest peaks, or the lowest valleys. It's just one of those things that "feel right."
Back to reality! Jennie and I saw "The Forbidden Kingdom" last night. It's the newer kung fu sensation out now, featuring movie star martial art legends Jackie Chan and Jet Li. As I know it, this is the first movie the two have ever done together. (If I am wrong please correct me). That said, this movie is a testament in that rite alone. Seeing the trailer made me eager to watch this as it seemed to be filled with your typical fantasy, Oriental Legend, and Kung Fu action. Little did the trailer lead on, there are very horrible scene cuts! That aside, it was a pleasant movie but I found to be typical and pretty predictable (which movie really isn't these days?) One of the funniest scenes, as quoting my friend Alan, consists of Jackie Chan, Jet Li, and urination. I laughed a good bit at that one. Revisiting my old rating system from the Wrestling Mayhem Show, the Doc Rem-o-meter, I give this movie a "Jimbo" (4 out of 5)
Well thats all I have for the 5 of you today. Time to come down from cloud nine.

Burn the Fleet
What does it mean when you want something so bad that you give up on it? Something that you have absolutely tried your hardest to make sure it becomes accomplished, but one day you wake up and realize it's not going to work no matter how hard you try. Extenuating circumstances prevent any advances in what you are putting so much energy into. At what point do you finally wave the white flag. Is it okay to let all that effort and time to just fall by the way side? I came to this realization the other day. It left me feeling empty. It's like raising a child for so long and then waking up one morning and realizing you no longer want to be a parent. How does someone accept that?
I spent the majority of that day lost in thought trying to decide my course of action. Most of the time I let my problems spill into the laps of others, and do my best to formulate an opinion based on pros and cons I gather from all of those unfortunate people who happen to show up online. This was different. I felt that it was something that only I could make a decision on what to do. There was no running to others or hiding behind someone else's reasoning. I defined the term "internal debate" that day. I housed the WWIII version of my thoughts inside of my cranium with each side putting up a lot of fight.
In the end it dawned on me that if I still cared enough about this to trouble myself this much on what to do, then quite possibly it is still worth getting up and partaking in. One cannot just get up and walk away from problems. All problems have a solution and it is up to us as individuals to sit down and work out the best possible solutions for them.
Now to check back into the real world. Tonight is the start of Round 2 of the Stanley Cup Playoffs. We have Philly v. Montreal and Colorado v. Detroit. Both should be pretty good games, and of course the Penguins kick off Round 2 against the Rangers tomorrow. However, I will be at a wrestling show you can see here. So if anyone could be so kind and keep my updated on the game that would be GREAT!
I also found out this week that I am now a father!! I know surprised me too, but don't worry I handled it well. Say hi to her here.
Really I think thats about all I have for now. Until next time. Keep your head out of the clouds.

Random Thoughts and Comments
Alright, alright it's now time for my sophomore post! Just got a few things since my last post that have occurred or stood out to me.
1. I hate stupid promotional things that I must "push on people" Would you want to tell people that this guy....
....is going to make them want to rent more movies!
2. I love the city I live on the outskirts of. Not many places are you gonna see this in morning rush hour traffic.

Guess What........
Well everyone it looks like I finally cracked and got myself one of these shiny, new, fandangled blogs. I've never put much thought into one of these before so I apologize now if I "break blog etiquette" or simply offend you. Well, actually I don't mind as much if I offend you . Like my good friend Lunchbox says, "Lighten the F*** up, it's the internet."
Well seeing as this is the "cherry popper" of my blog, I had no idea what I was gonna write about. I figure the best way to start things, is to answer the question most are going to ask me.
"Why Cloud Envy?"
To be completely honest, it kind of just came to me. I sat and thought "what do I want to call this thing?" and poof there it was. As an after thought I began to think of different reasons on how Clouds can relate to a blog and why would someone envy them.
It's my belief that nothing is really more creative than a Cloud. An entity that is constantly changing and becoming new and different things. Two people can look at the same cloud and see two completely different things. This can translate well to a blog. A blog being an extension of creation and imagination will change and transform as one grows, matures, and just over all lives. The blog will change and adjust to the path of life the blogger travels upon. Much like clouds as they travel through our atmosphere along the paths of wind.
Another point is that to admire the clouds one always must be looking up at them, and this is a positive to moving forward. Who knows maybe someone will be reading my blog here and be inspired or feel the urge to "look up to me" All I can hope for is that someday at some point someone's life will be impacted by the words that I scribe on this digital tablet.
I guess this allows me to realize why I envy them so. Clouds float
lazily dealing with whatever mother nature has planned for them, changing and adjusting as I mentioned earlier. They can bring peace and tranquility, or rage and chaos during the fiercest of storms. It's life boiled down to its simplest form. That leaves me green indeed. If only one could go through life just taking things as they come.
I believe I have gone on long enough here. Guess I should wrap it up and start planning what's next. Maybe the science behind clouds. Who knows.
Until next time.
